    Billing service
If I use a billing service, what would be the transaction to record the deposit and then when the billing service receives the payment, how do I record it?

I am the Office Manager of a billing office and they way we operate is by having the EOB's sent directly to the Physicans office then the send us the copies. We enter them into our database as we receive them and then at the end of the month we bill them our percentage of their monthly grossed income based off the claims we submitted and our contracted amount. This way both the physican and our office have access to the most updated information at all times and you would have valid records of what claims have been paid and which ones have not.
