    Hampton bay ceiling fan remote model o:uc7080t
    My remote stop working it is stuck on low light and fan speed---tried changing batteries several times and messed with little buttons inside---5 grey hairs later I gave up so what how or who--help me please

    When I turn the power on the light and fan comes on and the on off bottons do not work nor the fan speed---the remote light come on only when I push one of those buttons but no results and the light on the remote goes back off--i hope that helps

    Most likely the receiver is fried.

    Does the fan have pullchains?
