    Humidity
    Hello,
We wanted to lower our humidity in our house, we had a central air conditioner installed a week ago. We aren't finding that the humidity is dropping much,it's at 54% humidity right now. We have the air temp at 70degrees,, is there a way to drop the humidity lower, and keep it maintained at that point? We also have a dehumidifier in the basement..
    Thank you ever so much,

Contact your installed since they are responsible for the proper operation of your unit. Usually they can lower the blower speed to give the moist air more hang time at the coil to clear more water from the air BUT I would let them make the adjustments since you are under warranty.

Humidity in outside wall [ 1 Answers ]

We have found significant water in the wall cavity of an outside wall with no apparent pipe leakage. We urgently need to find the cause and remedy it, in a French "villa"-type house built about late '70's. The insulation in the cavity is fibre-glass. Any comments or suggestions?

Humidity [ 2 Answers ]

I am wondering where I should have my humidifier in my home. Should it be by a cold air return or farther away, or by the thermostat? Does it even matter as long as I keep it running?
