My 8 yr old mini has had an occasional problem that lasts for hours or a day: she shakes, gives off a piercing scream and needs to be held close, on and off for hours. I don't know what it is that causes this. She appears to feel relief when I stroke her tummy. Any info out there about this painful experience she is having??

It could be a blockage in the intestine or obstruction.

    Good luck

Thanks; she has now eaten and gone outside barking and running. I think all the " in her intestine must have been connected.

Just watch out for any signs that it might be going to happen again.

One of my fur kids has occasional seizures... she is 3 years old and only ever had a couple but still, it is very scary.
She would go stiff, start shaking and sometimes cry.
We just tried to keep her calm until it passed and then she was back to her usual self within about half an hour.

Maggie Lou is 11 1/2 weeks old and I do not know how to get her to poop on the puppy pad. Sometimes she will poop when we take her outside and sometimes not. It seems as soon as we turn our back on her, she poops somewhere in the kitchen or living room. Please give me some tips on what to do.

Dauschund [ 5 Answers ]

Hi I have a 9yr old dauschund and just came from the vet. She can't stand on her feet she falls down and rolls. The vet found nothing in her x-rays. I don't know what to do next. I can't see her this way. I have to hold her to potty and she won't go. What would you do? I really can't afford for her...
