I usually don't have anything to ask here but.
(sorry, may be sensitive material to some)

I am curious. I have been dating a guy from my college since January. We have been intament 2 times. And once, for the first time in my life, I had an orgasm without clitoral stimulation. Sorry for this info but it was just blow your mind away oh my gosh type. I have never had an orgasm with just vaginal penetration. And now my vagina is extreamly sore and swollen. That happened to me only once before (I was raped) and now its got me worried that something is wrong.

    Thanks in advance.

Was the sex really rough? Did you guys use lube? Is it possible that something like the top of his pelvic was rubbing up against your clitoris?

Are you sure you are both STD free (sorry, I know... )

If you used lube or maybe a different type of condom, it could be a reaction towards the latex or the lube. I can't use any silicone based lubes, nothing with flavor, nothing with scent. All water based for me.

Cat, just a couple days. The redness seems to be gone but the sore swollen feeling isn't.

    Aurora:

Was the sex really rough? Did you guys use lube? Is it possible that something like the top of his pelvic was rubbing up against your clitoris? yeah I think his pelvis was rubbing against it. That may have been why I enjoyed it so much. No it wasn't rough. It wasn't soft and slow or anything but not rough. I'm allergic to lube so no to that, unless there was lube on the condom.

Are you sure you are both STD free (sorry, I know...) I know I am. And I'm pretty sure he is, he SAYS he is. But we all know the answer to that one lol. But we had sex back in march, and I had my yearly exam last month and all came back fine.

If you used lube or maybe a different type of condom, it could be a reaction towards the latex or the lube. I can't use any silicone based lubes, nothing with flavor, nothing with scent. All water based for me. that was accually the first thing that crossed my mind. I only used condoms once before (the only other 2 people I was ever intiment with was my daughters father and my ex husband, and we were trying to conceive except for one time when my daughters father and I DID use a condom, and it gave me a rash.

Thanks for the help both of you.

Did the condom have a spermicide on it? It sounds like a reaction to the condom, but if it doesn't clear up in the next day or so, call your doctor. Something else may be going on.

Cat, I'm not sure. I will have to look when I see him next. They are magnums though. Just plain gold wrappers saying magnum on the front.

Are you allergic to latex jennie? Those condoms sound like the ones me and my boyfriend use (the only ones I've ever seen with that wrapper, but I'm certainly not an expert). If they're what I'm thinking of, they are lubricated latex condoms.

Of course its always good to check in with your dr (as I'm sure you already know :) ), but maybe you just need to switch to something non latex?

JC, no I don't have a latex allergy. Lol. I work in a lab, I would have known by now :P latex gloves, tournequets, bandages (coban is latex did you know that?! We didn't until a few weeks ago)

But yeah no allergy to latex but if they are lubricated that's the problem. They didn't SAY lubricated on them. But if they were (I wasn't paying attention *blush* lol) that's what is going on. Because I have had allergic reactions to lube before.

BUT the good news is, its getting mUCH better. Still a little sore on the outside, but no more redness or swelling.

I think its from a combination of "for the first time in my life, i had an orgasm without clitoral stimulation" and that you have not had sex very frequently.

Think of it as kind of a "shock" to your body. Causing your vagina to be sore because it's not used to the sexual activity.

You know I never thought of that carrottalker, thanks. And to even add to the frequency, being with him was the first time for me in nearly a year since I was with my ex husband. So that's a very good point. Thanks.

Yeah everything is much better now. No problems at all. And I think your right aurora. Maybe I should test it? Or just avoid condoms all together? Ugh. I'm allergic to pill form BC though lol. This sucks. Is there such a thing as non lube condoms? Maybe I should look.

YA there is, but OUCH, they hurt. Have you tried water based lube. There is this lube called gun oil, and it is really hypoallergenic. Have you ever tried this stuff called Wet?

What about the needle? (Depo Prvera spelling? )

Waterbased lube is the only one I HAVE tried. Maybe I should try a different kind other than water based? I've tried the wet. I've tried KY, and liquid silk. I've never heard of gun oil though.

And no way for depo shot for me lol. I tried it before, made me gain tons of weight that I'm STILL trying to lose. I have thought about merena, (spelling?) but I've never been comfratable with 'new and improoved' stuff lol. But I may look into it...

Ya I don't like the sounds of Merna, or what ever it is. That's the IUD right? Those things just freak me out.

It's a silicone based lube, but it's much easier down there, if you know what I mean. ;)

You should talk to your doctor about various forms of birth control--but since you've only been dating since January, I'd still use condoms for a while anyway.

Birth control (in its various forms) can prevent pregnancy. Condoms prevent STDs. And TONS of people don't even know they are carriers of some of the STDs out there--like HPV.
