Hello, My 17year old daughter's boyfriend recently broke of with her she really doesn't know why all he tells her is he is going to hurt her. She has tried texting and calling him but he doesn't respond now she wants to take her to go talk to him. I told her I didn't think that it was a good idea. She can't go on if she as long as she knows that she had tried everything to get to him. I should mention that is is 18 and has low-self esteem. He tells her he can't be friend with her either because it would hurt knowing that she was dating someone else. How should I handle this take her to see him or not? Knowing he may not want to see her.

Sometimes life's lessons need to be learned the hard way. I would say take her to see him, but tell her whatever happens, happens for the best and she has to live with whatever transpires between them. I hope that he has the maturity to tell her to her face exactly what is happening between them.
