Hey I'm 20 years old and my girl is 15 and pregnant with our baby And I want to get married to her but my state won't allow it. What state will allow us to get married?

I looked over the chart provided in the link by artlady above and it was an excellent guide. Basically, I'm gathering here that you and your girlfriend have not told her parents at this point and are trying to figure out what you can do now. The problem I see is that in most states with you being 20 and your girlfriend being 15 and pregnant - a crime has been committed. I would worry less about getting married and worry more about how to get on her parents' good side. Neither one of you has been making great decisions at this point and getting married to someone 15 shows that you still aren't making the best decisions. At 15, she is not even close to being the person she will be at 25.

Annie hit it... worry less about getting married and worry more about not going to jail for 10-30 years, depending on the state you live in. For instance, in FL this is a second degree felony and carries 20 years. (FL 800.04)

The other thing to consider is that it might not matter what her parents say. There are cases on record where a hospital reports the violation when the birth certificate is filled out.

Worry less about a wedding and start looking for a lawyer. One will likely be needed in your future.

Oh - and the other point... if you take her out of state you are committing another felony. Just so you know. You cannot take a minor across state lines. And don't quote me, but I believe that one is a federal crime, which means federal prison... and no parole.

So please... consider your actions very carefully.

I can't necessarily judge I'm 15 possibly pregnant an my boyfriend is 20 as well.. we are first going to find out if I am.. an hopefully go from there we have thought about the options and will hopefully have a positive result.. the only barrier for us is his age.. so yes make decisions carefully.. think about everything.. so that way when you talk to her parents you will have you're side together and hopefully they will look at you in a more positive light then they would if you run off an get married
