How to dye red hair light brown
I am naturally a brunette and have been dying my hair very red for a long time burgandy reds to fiery reds. I am tired of that look and want to go to a golden or carmel brown. I can't afford to go to a salon. I just used loreal excellence mega browns carmel. My hair still has quite a bit of red to it. How can I accomplish a carmel or golden brown with out stripping my hair?

Unfortunately I've been this road as well, when it comes to reds there really isn't much that can be done without stripping it and even then it doesn't always work. I've had to grow mine out and just let it be for a while. Good luck.

Red is next to impossible to get rid of. I went to the salon last time my hair was red and it took several visits for them to finally just tone it down. In the end it finally just had to grow out.
