    RTH230B fix
Tech guy just told me furnace and AC were both running at the same time that's why no cold air from AC. He jiggled some wires inside thermostat, now I get cold air from AC, but neither it or the furnace will turn off when selected temp. reached... have to turn thermostat to off position. Am willing to buy new thermostat if you think that is the problem (and not something on the furnace itself since he did something in the basement also.) Honeywell RTH230B

Thank you Joshdta. I did what you said, and it WAS the thermostat. Just came back from Menards, installed it, and all is well.

I recently reset the breaker on my air handler and now the rth230b (which until today worked fine) will not go past the flashing cross symbol (indicating compressor safety feature wait cycle). Still 15 minutes later the air handler is not yet blowing. I've also been having a problem that the...

These steps range in size from 6.5" to 9.5" and the tallest is on the top! They are very dangerous. He refuses to do any fixes, and walked off project. At one point in the...
