Anyone ever made a TEE PEE out of Scarlet Runner seeds?
I live near Western Oregon. I would love any advice on when and where to plant these seeds. We have a bunch of room to plant, but I am worried my little experiment is going to get eaten up by the many deer that travel through our property!
Anyone else starting their garden or already started some things? Got my snap peas and strawberries in. Doing the rest with in the next week!(corn, radishes, squash, cucumbers, and sun flowers)

You have to have a structure to start with. Your subject didn't read that that so assuming you know that. You can buy the 'teepee' already made, but I make mine out of sticks, tied at the top and fanned out at the bottom. I grow them for the flower, not the bean.

I wanted the flower too, and the excitement for the boys!
I was thinking sticks from our property and then going around it with string so they have something to hold on to while they grow up and get taller. Thanks Tickle! I am thinking bigger than most I think, but as long as it doesn't go too high, I think they will be fine. Any suggestions for the deer? Or do you think I should just see what happens? When do you start yours and do you think partial sun will be all right?

Hi start, runner beans like full sun, don't worry about the deer cause you can do one or two of these a season, so will always have plenty.
We don't start veggies or anything like that in southeast Ontario until May 24th or so. I don't plant veggies, just the kind that flower.
Have you every had deep fried zuccini blossoms ?
Edit: talking about sticks. I make all my trellises out of sticks and branches, or anything that needs help getting growing.

No, I have always just shredded and froze the zuccini for bread and cakes! I would love a recipe... blossoms? Like the flower that comes?
We can start almost anything here in late April or early May and it should do just fine!

I have a Chihuahua that’s about 3 months and I trained him to use pee pads in the house, he was doing really good so then I bought a litter box with no lid and put his pee pad in there to try and get him to be box trained, he wouldn’t use it, and started peeing and pooping on the floor, so I took...
Sanitary Tee Vs and Tee w/ longer sweep

It seems obvious, but I wonder what the logic is behind the use of a short radius elbow or sanitary tee vs one of the long sweep elbows or tees in a sewer rough in.
Is it only for lines w/ solids or large volumes in laterals or drains? Or are the longer sweeps more for vertical stack...
