    How can a ex-felon 13 years ago get a passport toget a job in japan
    I had sex offense 13 years ago on my wife but only spent 40 days in jail and three years of probation my probation ended in June of 2000 so it has been 10 years since I have been off paper but now I want a Job in another country but I want to know if I can get a passport to leave the to get a job I have been told there are jobs in Japan and other countries.

    You get a passport by applying for one, A passport is merely a official ID. The issue you may have is getting a VISA to work in the other nation.

    You can apply for a passport.. no problem, BUT to be eligible to work in other country, you may have problem when employer wants to run background check.
