John Deere 115 Not Moving With Gas
So spring is here and I took the John Deere out from the garage for the first time since late fall. I pushed it out and dropped the deck to change the blades and did an oil change. Have a problem with the deck so I didn't put it back on, finished the oil change. Started the unit up, when I give it gas it does not move forward or backwards. The lever in the back of the unit is depressed in but the tractor will move when pushed forward or backwards. Looking under the tractor when I push the back lever in it does push forward on the transmission unit but the tractor still has free movement. Is this disengaging the tranny and if so how do I go about fixing this?

Make sure your drive belt is still on the engine and tranny.
