John deere lx176 leak gas out tube below carb
My John Deere LX176 (riding lawn mower) has been setting for the winter. I went to start it and it was cutting out on me. I noticed fuel on the floor and lifted the hood. Gas was coming out of a tube connected to the underneath side of the carberator. Can someone explain what is happening before I take it apart?

    Thanks, Jason

Any chance of a picture of this carb? Its likely a stuck needle valve, tap the side of the housing that the bowls connects to but do not tap directly on the bowl. I'd drop the bowl, clean it, the valve and seat and then reinstall with a new gasket.
