Ex-husband, not biological father, not paying child support
My ex-husband, with permission from the biological father, signed my sons birth certificate when he was 5 months old. When he was 16 months old we were divorced. Now my son is 10 yrs old and I have been remarried for 6 years. My ex-husband wanted to support my son and told the judge this and was ordered to pay child support. He paid the support for the 1st 3 years but now refuses to pay. He still gets visitation with my son. My son, however, does not want to go. I have to phyiscally put him in his vehicle and things when he is supposed to go. As of now, the child support enforcement of GA has his drivers license suspended but that is all I can get done. He is over 13,000.00 behind now.. What are my options?

What are your options for collecting child support, or what are your options regarding visitation?

For child support, you can file for contempt. Of course, doing do may create more problems than you currently face. Does your exhusband not have a job/not pay taxes, that he has no refund check which can be intercepted?

Why is your son so adamant about not going with his "father"? Is this a recent change in behavior? Has something happened that is causing him to not want to be in his father's home?

    1. of course there bio father can not merely OK someone else to be the legal father, they committed fraud for him to sign.

But at this point he is the legal father although GA may allow him to challenge it with DNA tests.

In GA visits and support are not related, if there is a visit order and you do not allow him to see the child, he can take you back to court.

But you need to get child support in GA after him, garnish his pay, and then of course they will often put him in jail for this also
