    Winnipeg law- mischief under 5000
    Hello k so I got arrested last night for breaking a window (mischief under 5000) and I'm 17, I go for print and court in about a month.
    1.will I have a record
    2.how much do I have to pay

    Unless you get diversion (which may or may not happen), yes, you will have a record. The fine depdends on the mood of the Judge and whether he believes restitution is also appropriate.

    Have you paid for the window yet

    Have you went and told the party how sorry you are for the damage.

    This of course will look good to the court.

    You will have a record unless the court allows you in a diversion program

    I would say fine of 500 or less and some probation time
