    My parent is my dependent what form do I need to attach
    I am head of my household my mom has been with me 2 years I am her sole provider , what forms do I need to claim her and will I get a tax credit?

    File Form 1040 with head of household status and claim exemption for your mom.

    Felice7: just as a reminder - your mother's income must be less than $3,650 for the year in order for her to be your "qualifying relative," which is a requirement for you to file as Head of Household. If her income is more than that, you can't claim her as your dependent, and hence you can't file as HoH.
