Requirement of out of state employees to receive thwir paycheck
We get paid by-weekly. Is it a requirement that out of state employees receive their paycheck on payday? If I mail it to them sometimes its late. Could we get into trouble/

No. As long as the paycheck is mailed on payday you are okay. I did payroll for two different trucking companies on a weekly basis and never mailed out the checks early. I only mailed them out on the day/date that everyone else got paid. If it took the checks 5 days to reach the person in the mail, so be it.

Do you offer a direct deposit option instead of a paper check? If so, have these people sign up for direct deposit so you will stop getting the calls quizzing you where is my check.
