When I start to blow snow the motor dies
Have a craftsman 5.5 hp snowblower when it is in the garage running and you put the auger on you can see the govenor arm move some so that makes me think the govenor is working but you go and blow snow it wants to just kill the motor. This unit is only about 4 or 5 years old. If you blow snow in 1st gear and go super slow you can keep it going if you try in 2nd or higher it just kills the motor... any ideas what to check?? Thanks..

You need to take the bowl off the bottom ot the carb.
Run a wire through the center of the carb , this is the main jet , check the bolt that holds the bowl on see if it has any holes it it . If so clean them also.
Its not letting enough fuel in when under a load. GOOD LUCK.

    Check your rpms.

Why does the fuse inside my GE microwave blow whenever I start cooking? [ 2 Answers ]

About a year ago my microwave (I'll call it GE #1 in this thread) just stopped. Wouldn't turn on. No cooking, no keypad, no lamp; nothing. Nothing happened when I plugged it into the wall. And so that micro sat dysfunctional over my stove-top for several months, until I bought a new one. And...

Odd MTD motor situation- runs fine then dies [ 4 Answers ]

I've been looking and asking all over. Get different advice. My mower will start fine and run good for a few minutes then all of a sudden it starts sputtering, smoking (greyish) and then die. If I let it sit for a while then it will usually start the same way and after a minute or so do the same...

Goodman furnace fires up, but no blow.(new motor) [ 1 Answers ]

The furnace fires up for a few minutes but the blower motor doesn't engage. Then the safety switch kicks in and turns the flames off. You can hear the click of the relay and the low moan of the motor trying to go. Sometimes it'll click on.. you hear the motor strain... then click off, then click...
