I have a decree from Cook County, Illinois Case No. 36889, that a William Bush (son of Cora Bush) was renamed Merritt Carl Holman and became the child of Everett A. Holman and Velma R. Holman on February 8, 1916.

Is there anyway more information can be learned about Cora Bush the biological mother of Carl Holman? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You had asked about Cora Bush. That name was in the 5th box on that screen.

When I clicked on the site it came up Caroline Hampton. I have tried clicking on the fifth box down on the A-C and found nothing. Which fifth box down? Since I am new to this, perhaps I am being dense, but I cannot find the fifth box down. A million thanks.

When searching websites for names or any information. Click "edit" in your browser then click "find". If you enter the name or item and choose to find it. Its easier. And much faster.
