Well, try that link then, and see what you can find. She may be looking for you too, so register with all of the sites you can find. Here's another link for you. You can also Google many more, just to get the word out that you are looking for her.
Search People, Find Classmates, Find Friends, People Search - Reunion.com
Best of luck with your search! :)

You're welcome. I'm trying to think of other things you can do too. If you know where either of your parents lived, try searching addresses, or any other clues that may be in your mothers ID. I don't know what kind of ID you have, but there must be some info there somewhere. Start there, and keep on trying! I really do wish you the best of luck. Just be careful! I don't know the circumstances, but you may not find what you're looking for, and be prepared for anything that may happen in your search. They don't always have happy endings. Yours might be a happy one, but just prepare yourself first okay?

I always advise to use a third party to do the contract once you actually find them. It is possible they may or may not want to meet you. So by using a third party you can save having a bad situation.

Also try adoption sites like ISSR, adoption.com and adoption.org.
They have reunion lists that people register on all the time--it's possible that your birthmother is looking for you already, and is already registered on those boards.
I agree with Chuck, though--try to initiate the first contact through a third party.
