    Problem,I have 2 os running on my computer!!
    I have 2 os both are winxp pro running on my computer,so I installed a new winxp on drive c, then I formatted drive d-so it's empty-, but up till now every time I start my computer gives me the option massage -if I choose the 2nd os it will give me error massage- so what shall I do to stop that massage

    Are you trying to get the 2nd one working or the 2nd one deleted ?

    Edit your boot.ini file on c:\ root folder

    Rright click on boot.ini and choose edit

    Delete the line in boot.ini that is listed under [Operating Systems] that reflects the option you do not want to use during start

    Make sure you delete the one not in use and delete the line for the partition that you formatted.

    Make a backup of boot.ini in same folder as .bak just in case you remove the wrong one

    Go to windows explorer and then go to c:\ drive
    -you should see boot.ini file there, right click on it and choose edit

    Yes, it will open in notepad and then you can make changes and when saved, it will still be same file

    After editing as mentioned above, restart the PC
