    Briggs 18hp vanguard fuel pump
    I have an argo I had the fuel pump go out I used a 16 vanguard pump I have on the shelf brand new changed filter too now when I run across the frozen lake it starts to backfire and loose power sit and let idle for a few and runs again for a while then does it again why ran fine before fuel pump went out any clue? I'm stumped

    Hi,
    I guess I would check the vacuum line running the fuel pump for cracks that would limit its function.

    OK ill try it the one coming out of the valve cover right? By the way we have that lawm cycle pic hanging in our shop .ill double check those lines and get back to you thanks
