    Briggs 18hp ohv Stalls Out
Briggs 18HP OHV runs for a few minutes then quits. Today when I tried to start it blew gas out of the exhuast. Is it valve problem and could decent handyman fix myself?

Yes, and yes. Although it could be the needle valve staying hung open by the float being out of adjustment, or a small microscropic piece of trash in the carb.
