No I didn't replace the coil.. could it also maybe be the fuel shut off relay or cps or cam pos sensor? Also when I drove today it made it about 3 miles then died in the parking lot when I put it in nuetral it started then as soon as I put it in drive it died.. tried this again and kept my foot on the gas to keep it going made it home and let it idle in the driveway died just sitting there idling.

Try to turn the engine over by hand to move the ring gear on the flywheel along a few teeth then see if the starter will work.

First, replace the coil. Then, if the problem persists, replace the distributor housing (genuine Honda only) and install your new ICM and coil in it. This will take care of the internal distributor housing sensors (CKP, CYP, and TDC) being bad. Over 50% of new aftermarket distributors for Hondas, at AMHD, have not worked. This is why I only recommend Honda housings.

Replaced the coil and so far the car seems to be OK... when I first started it it died after a few seconds then on the thired restart it stayed running.. hmm is this the computer learning the new voltage or what? Also my old coil had a crack on the housing could this cause it to fail?

Absolutely. A crack in the coil would finish it off. If any codes were previously thrown, use a code reader to reset the ECM.
