    How Do I Sell Partially Inherited Propety in Atlanta, Ga
    How Can I Find Real Estate Brokers to Buy my 1/3 of a house. The house has been estimated at $88,000. My inheritance is work 29,000. I am willing to accept $15,000.00. Do you of any organizations that will buy my partial ownership.

    Buying your l/2 property would be a disaster waiting to happen for someone. I can't think that would be a lucrative deal for anyone. Now if you bought out the other half and sold everything together, that would be normal and probably better for you.

    Tangia, any way you can make money out of this unfortunate acquisition until someone wants to sell and they approach you too, do it. Yes, rent it out. Your rent sounds fair and first and last should always be asked for.

    Actually, if you own a 1/3 undivided interest in the house, you don't own any specific part of it. You simply have the right to agree with the other owners as to what is to be done with it. If, for example, they and you have agreed that you can use and occupy that room, then probably you could rent it out. Absent such an agreement, you could only force a sale of the entire house, and be entitled to 1/3 of the proceeds.
