    Just got a new maytag dryer how do I change it from a 3 plug to a 4 plug
    I was wondering what is the correct way to change an 3 plug to a 4 plug dryer from maytag. I just need to know what colors go where??

    You can take a pic if you want to and ost using "go advanced/manage attachments.

    Without a pic: there is a ground strap that has to be removed.

    The green goes to the frame and white goes to where the other end of the ground strap was.

    The other two wires on the plug don't matter. They will go to the two unused terminals.
