    Deported spouse how to file for taxes
    Hi I am a citizen my husband was deported on August 2009, he never got tax forms from his previous jobs, he worked in construction with individual contractors. He has an ITIN # he is far in the country side of Guatemala and has no access to electronics to file what do I dso in this case.

    If you're not divorced, then you should contact his employer and ask for W-2 or 1099 or any document. You must receive this document by the end of January, and you can file taxes jointly... it will benefit him on immigration issue.
