    FMLA Failure to provide paperwork
I was fired from my job after a nine week recovery from open heart surgery. I had just completed a year prior to my surgery and the company was required to provide FMLA. My heart surgery was unavoidable and not foreseeable. However, I was never provided paperwork for FMLA and this wasn't even something I knew required filing as I was very ill. I am considering suing for violation of FMLA. Is the paperwork going to be an issue?
