    I have a tempstar ac/heater unit the ac gut said the heater was out
    I have a tempstar ac/heater unit electeic.ac guy cam out today said heater was bad. Is it hard for me to change heater myself. It is only blowing 5kw and should be 10kw .he wants to charge me 400 bucks but I can buy the heayer at the ac shop for 135 new. Is it pretty easy to do all I saw was 2 wires and 2 crews on the stip.. help

    If you feel comfortable changing the heater go for it but make sure it is the exact one for your unit and do not increase the KW since you will also have to change to a larger size wiring all the way back to the electric panel.

    the ac shop says it's the same one for my unit I will take a picture and make sure I get all the wireing rite . Thanks for the reply any extra info would be great :D
