    Rheem furnace troubleshooting
    Furnace is running and not shutting down, blowing cold air ignitor is not coming on at at all green led light are on and the orange is off. I replaced ignitor recently came on for a few hours and stop, changed it again and nothing happens but the cold air.

    Shut the power off to the furnace, and tell me exactly what sequence of events takes place when you turn the power back on(with stat in fan auto, and heat mode, and stat turned up all the way). You will need to be watching the furnace with the covers off (manually push in the blower door safetey switch). Watch for draft inducer to start, then glow plug, then flame, then blower. Tell me what does start and what doesn't. Also, listen closely for any clicks from the control board and gas valve.

    One thought, if you touched the element on the glow plug with your bare hand the glow plug has most likely burnt out again.
