Hello, I am hoping that you can help me with this question. I am adding a bathroom in my basement and need to install a ejection pump and all the related lines. The water supplies are right there overhead, so that is not an issue. My question is how the drains should be run and the proper venting. The pump will be vented by itself, and I have been told that the vent is legal to go out the side of the house with a 90% and a screen since venting up through the attic can be done, but a lot of wall would need to be removed for access. I have a basic drawing (not to scale) of how the layout would be. Would you be willing to take a look at it?

I need to kinow whiich way the pipe will come out of the holding tank to pick up the discharge from the bathroom group.. Also where's the vent come out at? I'm laying out your drainage and I have to know Also draw in the walls so I can place the vents. Is the 36" the dimensions of the holding tank? Regards, Tom

Hi Tom, The pump is 24" diameter and has a 2" ejection on top and the vent is 1 1/2. This is the pump that I am using. http://www.libertypumps.com/data/tbP...%20rev%20B.pdf. I have updated the drawing with how I was intending to run the drains. Let me know what you think. OK? Thanks again for all your help!

Hi Tom, Yes I did receive it. I was away on vacation and just got back. I do have a couple of questions. There is going to be a shower to the right of the toilet that I did not see on the drain layout, but the bigger question is what is the minimum walk space that I can use between the shower and the toilet. I do not have a ton of space and the way that I have this, the toilet will be in the path to and from the shower. It appears that I will have 18" of clear path. Thanks again for all your help! I just want to do this right the first time.
