Running a drain from laundry tubs
I ran a drain pipe from the basement laundry tubs along the wall to the other side of the basement where the drain was. It worked fine. Last year we had an extension added to the house and in doing so wound up with pipe running through a doorway 1 foot off the floor. We now have to step over the pipe to go through the door. Would I be able to drop the pipe in a u bend at that point.

If you don't wish to break up the cement and run the drain correctly I would drop the drain to the floor and run it straight to the terminal instead of "U" bend. Good luck, Tom

I noticed that water was streaming down the front of my roof and that it must be coming from the roof vent. I also noticed that this happened only when the washer machine was spinning. I realized that this probably wasn't a good thing. I took a SMALL auger and tried to run it into the drain between...
