    Undescended testicle
I am 26 yrs old... my right testicle was undescended since birth.. my parents got me operated bt still the testicle did not descend down to the scrotal sacs.. it lies somewhat under my abdominal area since then.. I was suggested by sm1 to get a semen analysis test done.so I went for it.. the result showd that I have a low sperm count around 5.6million/ml.. the volume was 1.5 ml,motility-70% and the normal morphology trnd out to be 36%.. please suggest me what should I do next and what could be the consequences in such cases... will I be able to have kids in future?. is it really a serious matter?. can the testicle still descend dwn by some kind of surgery or medication?. please suggest.

I am not an expert in this area, but I do know that you should follow up with your doctor as undescended testicles have a higher rate of testicular cancer.

And having one testicle or one that is producing sperm have the ability to produce children.

Surgery is very rarely done on adult men to bring the testicle back down to its original position, and yes Stringer is correct regarding testicular cancer being more prevalent if not seen to to as soon as possible.

Your sperm count will always stay low and the only alternative is having that testicle removed from abdominal area to reduce the risk of cancer.

You need to see your doctor for a proper examination, consultation and diagnoses.

The information above is only my opinion and not professional advice.
