    High mileage transmission fluid change
In Post #44 in carsand trucks about changing tranny fluid, Tx GreaseMonkey references changing the torque Converter fluid also. Is it recommended to also change the TC fluid or is there some related bad karma that would prompt a person to also do the TC?

It's best to change all of the transmission fluid, which can only be done if you include what's in the torque converter. Otherwise, more than half of the transmission fluid is old, dirty fluid.

Most people don't change all of the fluid, since they don't know how to do it and they are looking for a cheap, easy fix. The link is trying to show people how easy it is to do it the proper way. The following method is even easier:

I have a 2000 Hyundai accent. I was changing oil and mistakenly drained tranny fluid instead. I started car and let idle with all that oil and no tranny...
