    Eaves & soffits
My new house which has 12" wood eaves have NO soffits installed. The roof pitch I believe is 7/12 (approx. 9-10' high at its peak and the blown cellulose insulation covers the eaves. The only vents are along the roof peak line.
Am I in for trouble down the road with moisture buildup, mildew and/or rotting eaves?
If so, what are the suggested solutions?
    Thanks!

You didn't mention if there were any gable vents.

More Venting the better it Must vent no matter what. Basic on venting.

    Thank you 21boat,
There are no gable vents. The attic square footage I estimate to be approx. 5,800.
There are only some side vents (openings between portions of the side upper wall framing in the 2-car garage as access to the attic).
I understand the more venting the better but your 1st answer leaves me with a lot more research to do to find the basic answer to my question.
