    Ceiling fan installation
    ?
I have a used ceiling fan with lights and have no idea on how to wire it.
I have 3 wires comeing out of the ceiling. Black, white and bare copper.
The fan/light assembly has 3 wires black, blue and white.
The mounting bracket has 1 green wire and the part the post part has a green wire on it too.
So I have 5 wires going to 3. Any help would be appreciated.
This fan is going into a mobile home if that makes any difference.
I appreciate any and all help.

You probably already have this done but, here is the answer anyway.

Black abd blue wires on fan/ lit go onto the black wire in the ceiling box.
White wire on fan/lite goes onto white wire in ceiling box.
Green wire and bare wire go together.
When the wall switch is turned on, both the fan and lie will come on. The fan/lite should have pullchain switches on it. These pullchains will control the on and off the lite; and the other will control the on/ off and speed of the fan.

You have to connect the blue and black wire from your fan to the black wire in your box, the white with the white one, and the green ones to the cooper one. Good luck

Both of the above suggested wiring sounds correct.
