    Eliminate Remote feature/need Wall control
We have a new Hampton Bay REMOTE control ceiling fan to replace an old casablanca. We want to hard wire to a wall switch. Eliminating the remote altogether for a number of reasons. Is there a Wall Control specifically for Hampton Bay or do we use a generic. It obviously has to have the capabilities to operate the lights and reverse the fan and control variable speeds. Any advice would be appreciated
Model #AC552AC sku#116 662 model name Brookedale II 60" blades.

The reason we cannot use the remote is that the pitch of the ceiling does not allow the ceiling Canopy that houses the remote receiver to let the down rod hang straight

You can put any fan/light controller in, but you will have to have 14-3 or 12-3 wire depending on your circuit breaker amperage. I have never seen a controller that will change the direction of fan though. Good luck!

The wall control will not reverse the fan unless it came in the box with the fan.

    Does the fan have pullchains?
