    Hello, I am trying to find someone to assist me in identifying a signature on a quality oil painting. The letters are very difficult to determine. I am hoping that the name my be

    Just perusing the name on an art piece on line will not ensure a proper identification. If you feel you have a signature piece of art, then you really should find a proper art historian who can authenticate the piece, as well as the signature, properly.

    Hello Tickle, Thank you for your advice, but I already knew that. Here in Puerto Rico the libraries are all in Spanish, and
    Have limited reference sections. Also "proper art historians" are more rare than "Hens Teeth". If I had a copy of Castagno's
    Sign.& mono>, I would'nt have to bother other people. Thanks
