Just perusing the name on an art piece on line will not ensure a proper identification. If you feel you have a signature piece of art, then you really should find a proper art historian who can authenticate the piece, as well as the signature, properly.

Have limited reference sections. Also "proper art historians" are more rare than "Hens Teeth". If I had a copy of Castagno's
Sign.& mono>, I would'nt have to bother other people. Thanks
