    Movie where guys race in the desert
    Im looking for a movie where there are several guys (like 4-5) maybe that are having some sort of race in the desert. I remember some sort of monster grabbing a guy and trying to pull him in the ground. I was a kid when I saw this movie so it has to be in the late 70's or 80's. They were on foot for the most part and at the end the wives were happy to see them returning. Its not Rat Race, or Cannonball run. Please help me find this movie!

    I don't think its gymkata. Its more than one guy and they do end up in city at the end and they are completely wore out and exhausted. They were on foot the whole time.
