    Car won't start
Hello, I have a 1990 Honda Civic... my car won't turn over... it struggles and then doesn't turn... I did notice the past few times I tried to start the car it struggled a little bit but always turned over... now not... I am not sure when I got the battery but don't think it is too old... thinking it is the starter... if this is the case... do you think I could get a jump and it would start or not because it is the starter and that would only work if it was the battery?? I was also wondering if you knew the cost of a new starter... I am broke and have no idea how much this will cost.

I also have another problem with my front driver side wheel... it sounds like a scraping noise... not the brakes... we tried to replace them and they are OK... I think it is the hub bearing... it made that sound once before and I think that was it... do you know what the sound is for hub bearing and how much that might cost ?

Help! I am starting to think I should just get rid of this car.:(

At AutoZone, the starter motor is $80 (after core) and the front wheel bearing is $50. Front wheel bearing removal/installation is somewhat involved and requires special tools (FWD Front Wheel Bearing Adapter, Harbor Freight, #66829, $79.99).

. Remove and fully charge the battery. AutoZone will do this for free. Don't jump start the battery--too much chance of a voltage spike damaging the ECM, alternator, or sensors.

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Kenmore he4 panel won't work and dryer won't start [ 1 Answers ]

I have had the circuit board/panel replaced once on my he4. I had only 2 weeks left on the warranty and figured it should be OK once it was fixed. They wanted another $200 to renew the warranty! Didn't have the $$ at the time. Anyway, the same darn thing is happening... you have to push the buttons...
