    Electricity out in two rooms
Hi, I have two bedrooms that appear to be on the same circuit and the electricity is not working in those two rooms. My son was watching TV with a heater on and the electricity went out. I checked the fuse box and nothing had flipped off. It was off for about two weeks and then all of a sudden it came back on. My son just went in and plugged in his heater and it went out again and won't come on. The breakers are all fine. I don't get it. I checked all the outlets in his room and the wires are all connected. Any thoughts?

You have a loose connection on one wire. The load from the heater is just enough to get it to arc and go off. Start at the panel and check every screw for a tight connection. Trace the wire to each receptacle, don't trust back stabs use only the screws and again check for tightness AND power at each outlet. It could be a neutral but my bet is on the hot.

Thank you. I checked the outlets in his room, but I guess it could be in the other room couldn't it? Is there an easy way to figure out where the loose connection might be?
