    Converting from gas to electric
    How would I convert a gas furnace to total electric and how difficult would it be

    Well first of all do you have a 200 amp electric service in your house? And what is the curent btus of your gas furnace?

    Conversion is not a good term here. You will need to replace the furnace. That should give you some sense of the amount of work. I would look into a heat pump if you are going to an electric furnace.
