    Is there a way to convert an lp gas furnace to electric?

    No. Take that off your list of things to do. Just buy a eletric furnace.

    Gas to electric conversion

    1. remove gas furnace completely
    2. replace with electric furnace

    Great and 100 percent correct answers. Need to tear out lp furnace and replace with electric. You will not find any other answers on this (or any other site).

    Your (conversion) will require an electrician, for changing from 120v to 240v, and a plumber or gas man to remove or cap existing propane line.
