Mysterious your dermatologist acually suggested to rub chapstick under your eyes? what the heck is that supposed to do?
But, I'll look around at ratings and post if I find some things.
Yea, that silly doc really told me that. She said it was something to do with moisture. Another doc told me it could be sinus problems-better advice than damn chapstick though. Lol, I tried it though out of desperation.
I got the free sample makari which lasted about 4 days or so, seemed to make my skin a bit brighter. But I'm thinking of investing in it again...

Yeah that doc was silly indeed to mention something she had already explained she did not know the answer to.

A good bleaching cream like hydroquinone will get rid of them, and some retin A.

Imgorgeous you are a dishonest person and not reliable at all. You said you was going to show me your before and after long time and asked for my email so you could "send it to my email" too, and you have done nothing but be dishonest and stal. You did not show me jack and only beat around the bush.
Same goes for Haiji with the exact issues. Dishonest, dishonest, dishonest... Shame on you both, up to no good and think it's funny.

Eck! Dark circles, I know them too well!
Here's a site that details many of the causes of under eye circles (everything from thinning skin and sun damage to iron deficiency)
And it also gives some great tips on how to get rid of them (including vitamin K creams, cucumbers to cutting back on sodium in your diet)

Thanks :)
From your picture it didn't appear to me to be skin color as such is all... It appears to have a slight bluish/purple tint which made me think blood vessels etc... maybe it's just my monitor.

Sorry I fooled you Shaz.
I've used eye cream before and it did nothing for the darkness. It seems I have very strong melanocytes around my eyes, genetically. Well us indians are notorious for that.

Hey Shaz, do you know anything that's good for bags under the eyes? I sometimes have them when I don't get enough rest and cucumbers sometimes just is not enough.

Hey Golden Girl,
I always keep a couple of tea bags in the refrigerator in a shallow glass of water if I know I'm going to be having some late nights. (glug glug :p)
I just lay back and put the cold moist tea bags over my eyes for maybe 5-10 minutes and it really reduces the baggyness.
The antioxidants in the tea as well as them just being nice and cool do wonders (even if you look a bit strange) ;)

What kind of tea bags, is it green tea? Once in awhile I get the bags, they are not very noticeable and are rare. But, I notice them.
Thanks goldenboy for the link, I'll check it out.

Sorry for the late reply...
I just use ordinary tea, not green, although I'm sure green would probaby have the same effect if not better. I'm a big tea drinker so I just use the bags in my drink (before adding sugar and milk) and then put the used ones in a cup of water in the fridge, saves money that way (I'm a tight arse haha)
Had to do that over the weekend due to some self inflicted tiredness

Probably the only thing that would work for prominent veins under your eyes is laser, to shrink or burn them away
