    Dryer shutting down
    My Amana gas dryer, model # LG4309W, will turn on for about 5 seconds and then shut off. Any suggestions as to what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

8 year old dryer Whirlpool started turning itself off. Worked fine until yesterday. Yesterday I was able to open the door and close it and restart it, but not anymore. Today it will start and shut off within 2 or 3 seconds.
