70 Series Kenmore won't heat
My dryer is three years old this month and it hasn't been heating since July. I have cleaned all ducts, inside the drum, and reset the breakers. I am trying to accept the fact that I most likely need a new heating element but the same time the dryer stopped heating I noticed the timer doesn't work properly. It will count down but not shut the dryer off when the timer runs out. I know the timer can effect the heating so is it possible this could be a cheaper problem than replacing the heating element?

I have a kenmore gas dryer, that up until this point I have had no problems with-i dried a load of towels yesterday and then later that day the dryer was turning the clothes but there was no heat!--where do I look first?
I have a kenmore series 80 gas dryer that has no heat when loaded. When emtpy it seems to make good -- normal heat. It does make a clicking noise -- like it is trying to light for about 15 seconds then stops noise but still no heat. Thanks for any help!! Bob
My kenmore 90 series used to dry clothes so fast, now have to run things on cotton 2-3 cycles of 40 min or more. I always clean the lint screen as required. But there does seem to be lint in the area on either side. I am not sure how to check pilot or any of those things. Help!! Any ideas?
All the tests I can come up with: power to, and through all the switches and thermostats seems to test as good.
