    Hi there,

    I "owe" a debt to a bank. Actually a credit union. So, I was wondering if I can get a bank account at another bank without issue. My job has moved to MANDATORY direct deposit...

    I see no reason why not!
    Apply and let them decide.
    Tell them about the MANDATORY
    Direct deposit system that you are under.
