It really drives me mad but every time I am using my computer for more than 3 hours it suddenly shuts off. Does anyone know what's could be causing this and how can I solve. Also my memory is supposed to be 128 but I can only get 127 and some times 126 mb

If its after three hours sounds like power saver controls. It depends on what is telling you its only 127 or 126. Most likely the 1 MB is being used for video memory.

You don't get the 1M back, its used by your video. Check the power saver settings in Control Panel

It might be heat build up. Try getting a can of compressed air and blowing the dust out of the case.

Make sure the physical state of your memory isn't bad; getting another stick of it might be a way to go too, pending there aren't any other issues with your PC. Is is possible that what you are doing on your computer could be making it shut off? Let's say you are a gamer, internet surfer, etc. Is this happening while you are active on your computer or does it do this while idle?

GOOD possibility and I swear by canned air; a fan aimed at the box itself could help, too?
