Hello,
This is driving me crazy, I am a girl and I'm really close to my best friend who is also a girl and I love her. I know I do as I tried to get over her by going out with some guys, but all I ever did was think about her.
What do I do?
We are really close, we hug, touch and are allways together.
She has kissed me on the cheek but I don't think it meant anythink as she didn't seem to make anythink of it.
Can she be straight just playing around with me. I have not told anyone I know I'm a lesbian or I like this girl. I put on my message on msn that I love her but I think people just assume she is my friend.
I am really confused butone thing I know I that I love her more than anythink also I'm into this sport and she used to not even no about it now she comes with me.
Do you think she like me ?
What should I do ?
If I did anythink what do you think her reaction would be ?
I don't want anyone to know accept her that I love her
I think she may feel the same but she will be too scared to admit it
But I may be imagining it as I love her so much and want to spend every minute with her.
I really want to kiss her but I can't until I know she is a lesbian
Please help me I feel ever so awful when I think about how much I love her

Wow. So, how old are you? I would try to re-think a few things. First of all, I'm not against lesbians or gays or anything, but I'm against what they do. In my opinion (and everyone is entitled to one) women are not meant to have sexual relations with other women- it's clearly stated in anatomy alone- they're just not compatible. You say you're a lesbian so, do you just like girls, do you love girls, do you like to mess around with girls, or do you want to have sex with girls? I'm pretty sure a lesbian has sex with other women... If you just love your best friend- you could be confusing a romantic love with a different kind of love that you're feeling which, in reality, isn't an intimate love, or a desire to be intimate- it's a love that most other women would feel with their best girl friend- you just love them like a sister. Generally speaking, women can confuse how they feel with what reality really is- I do. So, you want to tell your girlfriend that you love her and want to kiss her or whatever- so what are the odds that she's a lesbian too?

Make sure you know what you want first before you take the next step.

Once you're clear about what you want, the only way to find out how she feels about you is to ask her. There's no point over-analyzing all her actions. You can go in circles analyzing.

Is she in a relationship with anybody?

If so, then she is off limits. I say that to everyone regardless of age, gender, or sexual preference. Think of it this way, if you were going out with her, would you want someone trying to take her away from you?

If not, then talk to her. The only person who knows how she feels is her. You could start by just having a general discussion about people dating and same-sex couples. See if that gives you a better idea of her feelings.

I am sure that you will get more advice from other people.

One last thought, I know it may not seem like it now, but if it doesn't work out, there will be other chances at love. Just give yourself time.
